First Offworld Hardware.

Post-launch joy, nerves and adrenaline are a hell of a thing, but they are an entirely different beast when you have skin in the game with hardware you’ve put blood, sweat and tears into aboard.

Getting Published.

With my work on the MINI-LHR and LCIST system, I got my first co-authorship on a real scientific paper.

On the BBC.

The BBC caught wind of how I used to play lots of Kerbal Space Program that eventually led to me working at NASA and sending hardware offworld and wanted to interview me about it.

Going Underway.

When you get an email from the US Navy PAO asking if you can be at Naval Air Station North Island on a specific day to do a DV Embark on a carrier…. The answer is YES. Summer 2019 was a HELL of a time, got my 1Trap patch and spent a few days underway aboard CVN-71 USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Made it to a magazine

Work I did collaboratively with the Arms Control Wonk slack channel to geolocate footage of the 2020 IRA665 shootdown incident in under an hour got published as the cover feature of the August issue of The Economist.
